This homepage is an introduction site for an overseas language and culture course in America. We participated in the course last year. OLCA is the abbreviation for Overseas Language and Culture course in America. There is also an IC card called the ORCA card which is used as a pre-paid commuter pass in Seattle. We liked the name, so our web site uses a similar name. We hope that people who access our site can learn about studying abroad and have a valuable experience.
Summary
The best way to improve your English is to apply the English you have learned in a short course offered overseas in an English speaking country. You can improve not only your command of English but also gain some background knowledge about American geography and culture. Furthermore, since you are dealing with American students and citizens, you should brush up your basic knowledge about Japanese geography and culture.
